LAST NIGHT OF "CROOK 0' DREAMS." A spirited melodrama, with a popular star in the foreground, makes the new World film production, "Crook o' Dreams," an attractive programme, featuring Louise Huff, in the role of Constance Waldron, gives a realistic characterisation of a young girl, who, kidnapped in her infancy, is brought up by a pair of crooks, and lives in daily association with a son, Sam, a pickpocket. There are many strange happenings before the girl is again restored to her mother. The play has a very pretty climax, and the onlookers go off home with the sound of wedding bells ringing in both ears. TO-MORROW. MABEL NORMAND IN "WHEN DOCTORS DISAGREE." There will he a special matinee tomorrow at 2.30, when Mabel Normand will star in a rollicking comedy-drama, "When Doctors Disagree," This picture also shows at the night session. THE PEOPLE'S. BERT LYTELL IN "THE LION'S DEN." To-night's new bill presents the popular screen idol, Bert Lyttel supported by Alice Lake and a strong cast in the famous Saturday Evening" Post story, "The Lion's Den." The story is that of a young clergyman who desires to build a club for the boys of his parish ana keep them from the evils of t'lP street. Not meeting with the financial support of the wealthy members of the community, he determines to enter t'w "lion's den of commerce," and earn the rt:oney himself. It is a remarkable story played by a star who knows the road to the hearts of his audience.
