Paris, April :!"• Mr. Donoliue, in Hie Daily Chronicle, says an amazing letter is published from Corporal Max teller, who was fighting in the Ruhr Valley. It is addressed to (lie nursing sisters in the Reichswehr hospital. Describing the first fight with the Reds, Zeller said: ''No quarter was given and even the wounded were shot. The enthusiasm was immense. Only two of our battalion were killed, the wounded being fitnished cH' with the butts of rifles or bullets. We shot ten Red Cross sisters, who were carrying revolvers. They vainly cried for mercy, but it was a pleasure to shoot such hussies. Anyone carrying weapons is killed."
