PERSONAL.
Mr. J. Redmond, senior inspector of Post Offices in the South Island, and Mr. M r . McKinnon, relieving postmaster in the South Island, are at present ill New Plymouth carrying out a staff inspection in connection with the new classification. Mr. Redmond is well known in New Plymouth, having been stationed here some years ago.
