A LABORER KILLED. By Telciraph.—Pre«s Asioolatlon. Dunedin, Last Night. William Gilroy, a laborer, met with a fatal accident at Stirling, while at work in the South Otago freezing works, through his head coming into contact with a saw which was in jmotion. A MOTOR ACCIDENT. r " Auckland, April 36. By the capsize of a motor-car between Papatoetoe and Otahuhu, William J. Webb received abdominal injuries, Henry W, Clark fractured his nose, James Comsill was cut about the head and legs, and Edward Boyd was hurt about the head, probably not seriously. All were taken to the hospital, DJpJATH FROM BURNS. Palmerston N-, April 26. At the inquest on Barton Walton Keys, a verdict was returned that death was due to shock following on burns accidentally received by using methylated spirits to light a fire. Deceased was employed In the Awalniri Hotel and was badly burned by an explosion of methylated spirits last Wednesday.
