Details of Marconi's sclieme show that it provides for the erection of five main ' trunk stations in England, three each in Egypt nnd India, and two in East Alncn, also super-high power stations at! Montreal, Vancouver, Singapore, Southl Africa, West Africa, Australia and th* kast Indies. Among the trunk routes contemplated is one from England to India, thence to Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, with a branch from Singapore to Hongkong, and another from Australia to Vancouver for night service only. For working the stations on the 2i main routes a staff of 17,170 will b» required. *
