AMERICAN WHEAT. By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright, Received April 25, 5.5 p.m. Chicago, April 23. The American visible supply of wheat Is £6,648,000 bushels. N.Z. LOAN AND MERCANTILE REPORT. On Monday, at Opunake, we had n fair yarding, but owing to the extremely rough weather the advertised number did not come forward. We quote: Weanor heifers £2 14s to £2 17s 6d, steers 38s, cull \a>mba 9s 9d. At Manala, on Tuesday, we held our usual sale. Prices were on t. par with recent sales. On Friday, at Palmer Road, we had a good yarding of grown cattle, and prices were in favor of vendors. We quote: Pat and forward cows £9 Ids to £ll 10s. store cows £5 to £8 17s 6d, weaner heifers £2 10s to £3. THE TALLOW MARKET. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Co. Ltd. tiave received the following cablegram from their London house under date April 21, 1920: The tallow market Is dull with a downward tendency. So little Is being done that prices are merely nominal.
