The Christitinia correspondent of the Times states that Captain Nansen suggests that Captain Amundsen is returning in order to renew his scanty store of provisions, and will possibly restart for tlie Pole from Barrow. It is unlikely his drift from there will be completed under five years. Vancouver, April 23. A wireless message from Anadir, Siberia, announces that Captain Amundsen lias arrived there. It was reported from Christiania on March 2C'that Captain Amundsen was making a dash for the Pole, and had left the ship Maude for the dash across the Polar icefields. The "Maude's equipment included two aeroplanes, which Captain Amundsen nroposed ueinp'if practicable. Reports from the Maude, however, indicate that she mipht he expected at that portion of the Siberian coast to which Anadir is the nearest civilised outpost —Reuter Service.
