KAPONGA MEETING. The Kaponga Sports Club held its meeting in Victoria Park, on Thursday. There was a good attendance. The meeting was capitally managed by (secretary Alex Melville, and he was ably assisted by a willing hand of lieutenants, who Hod things moving briskly all the while. The clubs handicapper. Mr. J. J. O'Dea, also acted js starter, and very even despatches tvero the rule throughout the day The ladies of the district conducted the refreshment booth, which was liberally patronised.
