RELIEF OP MEAT CONGESTION. By Telegrapn.—Press Association. Feilding, Last Night. The annual meeting of the Feilding branch of the Farmers' Union passed the following resolution: "That this meeting regrets that nothing has been done to relieve the position regarding the congestion of freezing chambers'; also that the Prime Minister be asked why he has not called a conference ot producers, delegates for which were elected many months ago to consider the congestion of meat in London." Tiie following'remit for the provincial conference was passed: "That the conference urge on the Government the need of removing the dutv on imported timber, and that the railway rate be the same for local and imported timber."
