The Association of British Chambers of Commerce passed a resolution urging the Government to appeal to the Employers' Federation and the Trades Union to. temporarily extend working hours to meet the deficiency in pro" duction, thereby rendering 'more exports available to assist to check the depreciaton of British currency abroad. The Association also passed a resolution that a further reduction of hours would inflict irreparable injury on the trade of the country.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn
