FARMERS' DISTRIBUTING CO.
DIRECTORS RESIGN THEIR POSITIONS. •Sir James Wilson (chairman), Messrs. H. J. Richards. John Ralsillie, and I nomas Moss, together with the general manager of the. company (Mr. A. Leigh Hunt), have resigned their connection with the New Zealand Farmers' Cooperative Distributing Company (savs the Dominion). Sir James Wilson, who is president of the Board of Agriculture, and of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, and Messrs. Richards, Balsillie, and Hunt have been associated with the company since it was formed about twenty years ago. Starting with a capital of £SOOO, the company now has a ■subscribed capital of £200,000, and its shave, list contain* the names ot 2200 farmers. There are branches of the company at Feilding, Wanganui, Masterton, Mnrton, and Taihapc, and the annual volume of business is now £IOBB- - Last year the concern handled 20,006 bales of wool. Sir James Wilson (chairman) and Air Leigh Hunt (managing director), of the Dominion Farmers' Institute, Ltd., will still hold their offices on that bodv.
