MINISTER FOR LANDS.
VISIT TO TASANAKI. The Hon, D. H. Guthrie, Minister for Lnnds, arrived in Stratford from Wellington by the mail train last night. This morning Mr. Guthrie will go to Inglewood, and after a drive around the district lie Will receive deputations from Inglewood, Waitara, and New Plymouth. In the evening Mr. Guthrie will represent the Government at the banquet to cekv brate the formation of the Inglewood County.
The Minister will leave Inglewood tomorrow morning for Feilding, thence pro* ceeding to Rotonia.
