annual meeting.' .The nimu.ll meeting of the Star Motor Cyde Club was held at the Soldiers' Club, W night, Mr. P. Barry presiding oyer a good at tendance. The annual report thanked the members for the way in which they had stood by tha committee, and for the manner In which they had worked to make the season, and particularly the race meeting, a success, The report then went on to trace the program of the club since lis formation, which really took Plane on September 12, 1915, when a programme for the season was passed. TOe season opened with a hlll-cllmblng competl. tlon, which proved a very Interesting event. Some really good el tabs were put up, Mr. P. Taunton prorlng the winner of the T-9 solo class, and Mr. Pulton, the 3% ctosi Mr, Taunton also won the aide-ear eTent. Mention was made of the splendid riding shorn by Miss McHardle. They had alio hod several verv enjoyable Tuns during the Mason. including a nm to Opunake, where they wore splendidly entortnlned by the Kgmont cub. Runs were also arranged to Urenul rjnu to tho Mountain Rouse. Tho Acceleration test was a thorough success The hear?weight, event was won by Mr Crocket, and »ifi J „? vent h 1 Mr Plt'ieraM, \\U!U.t Mr. Mr.llardle won Ihe side-ear event. Reference was then made to the race meet.
