HEW PLYMOUTH ASSOCIATION. ! A meeting of the Committer of the New Plymouth Boxing Assoclntlnn was held last night, Mr. B. Whittle presiding over » full attendance. Notification was received that the Association hus been affiliated to the New Zealand Boxing Council. Arrangements wove finnlly made to hold a two night tuumament in the Kmpire Thcatra ok Wednesday and Thursday, May 26th and ?27, when a ten round professional bout will be put on each night. It was decided to ask Mr. Tim Tracer, well-known ex-champion, of Wellington, to act as referee. Each night a number of amateur bouts will be staged in the various classes Competitors from Ilaweva, Elthaui, Tc.kn, Stratford and Inglewood, as well as A TUimbar of promising local lads, have al» rtady notified their intention of nominating
