' j THIS YEAR'S OBSERVANCE. NEW PLYMOUTH VIEWS. The question of special observance of Anzac Day this year, which fall,, on tomorrow week (Sunday, 2oth inst.) was referred to by n Daily News representative 111 conversation with several citizens who have usually been associated with such celebrations in New Plymouth in past years. 'lhe general impression appeared to be one of uncertainty as to whether the Prime appeal to the churches to Hold special commemorative services on that day, meant the elimination of the hitherto customary combined service. -Minisf-ers'. Association has had no communication on the matter and has taken no action, and individual ministors- seemed undecided as to what course to follow The Returned Soldiers' Association Executive have discussed the matter in a tentative fashion, hut they have come to no decision, nor hare they expressed any definite opinion as to what should be done.
