ALLEGED PROFESSIONAL IMPROPRIETY.
& ACTION BY MEDICAL BOARD. Some months ago a good deal of interest was excited in Wellington in a case of trespass associated with which were allegations of abduction of a young woman (says the Dominion). A sequel to the case (which was partially heard in the AVellington Court) is the filing of a notice of motion in the Supreme Court by Mr. P. S. K. Macassey, solicitor for the Medical Beard, to have the names of two medical practitioners removed from the register of medical practitioners in New Zealand. The grounds for this action allege that one of the doctors in question committed a grave impropriety r\ a professional respect in that he conspired with a certain person to take a young girl, who was a patient under his charge, out of the, charge of her parents, and deliver her over to the said person; that in order to accomplish this end lie induced the girl's mother to .send her to a certain private hospital from which he in company with another medical man, removed her without, the consent of her parents or the knowledge of the' matron of the hospital, and delivered her to the person before-mentioned. The allegation against the second medical man is that lie assisted in the removal of the girl from the hospital under the conditions stated above. the motions will be hejard "by the Full Court on a date to be fixed.
