Hookhami. , _ Letters of thanks were received from the North Taranakl Hunt Club for the donation made to their funds, and from the Star Motor Cycle Club for the use of the Club's course and appointments. It was resolved to donate to the Pitkekura Park Board the sum of £SO in connection with its special Park effort. It was decided to apply for the following detes for the 1920-21 season; 27th and 28th Dec, lft2o; 2nd and 3rd Feb., 1921. Certificates of Illness and character were granted to W. G. Anstls and W. G. Lumsden, trainers' applications. THE STRATFORD CLUB. (From Our Own Correspondent.) About thirty members were present a special meeting of the Stratford Racing Club last evening to consider the committee's recommendations for financing the course improvement scheimd The president (Mr. A. Stewart) occupied the chair. The resolution passed by the Kinanco Committee was as follows: ''That this committee favors the methods of financing Mr. Hill's scheme of Improvements by way of several guarantees to a to'al estimate of the cost of the works, tho to he expended orer a period of joars.
