In view of the approach of troops, Hoelz ordered the formation of incendiary detachments in Plauen for the purpose of burning the residences of the wealthy people; also town halls, official buildings, and. railway bridges throughout Saxony. A band at Falkenstein burned five houses and damaged several others with hand grenades. Hoelz has left Plauen for the Bohemian frontier.
