The African World states that the biggest gold nugget in the world has been received by the Banquo de Congo Beige, London, for sale on behalf of the Belgian Government. It was found in the Kilo State mines in the Belgian Congo, whose yield of alluvial gold for the year exceeded 80,000 ounces. Extensive reefs have been discovered in the neighborhood.—Reuter. She is fitted with a wonderful! wireless cabin, in which Marconi intends to try to fathom tlie secret of the mysterious messages recently recorded, and suggested to emanate from Mars. He will also endeavor to solve the problem of applying wireless to th 6 prevention of sea collisions. Thirty assistants accompany Marconi, and the trip will last three' months.— United Service.
