The CoTinna arrived yesterday morning from South Island ports (Dunedin. Oamaru, Timaru, and Nelson), with G7O tons of cargo. On completion of discharge she loads earjo for the south, and is expected to sail this morning for Picton to fill up with chaff for Wellington. THE ARAPAWA.

The Northern Company advise that tile steamer Ara.pawa left Wanganul at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon for New Plymouth. She should arrive early this morning, and will be In port only a few hours loading Ave tons of explosives for Onehunga. where she proceeds via Kawhla. LORAIN DUE FRIDAY. The agent for the Lorain, (Mr. Newton King) received advice last night that the vessel will leave Wellington to-morrow, arriving here on Friday. In addition to her cargo from Note York, the Lorain will bring transhipments from Wellington. COAL BOAT FROM AUSTRALIA. The Union Company advise that the Walporl (1919 tons) is expected to arrive herd from Newcastle about April 20 with a full load of coa'H, The quantity will be well over 2000 tons. ■ UNION COMPANY'S VESSELS. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedln. April 13. The Maori leaves Port Chalmers on Thursday afternoon and Lyttelton on Friday evening for Wellington, resuming the ferry service. The Mararoa on her arrival at Lyttelton on Friday morning withdraws and leaves the same day for . Port Chalmers for overhaul. The Tofua left San Francisco at noon ant Saturday for Wellington. She Is due on May SCHOONER'S ROUGH TRIP. Dunedin, April 13. The schooner Progress arrived at Dupedtn last evening from Oreyimouth after a very rough trip. The vessel was blown 82 miles north of Cane Egmont. Although severely huffetted the vessel was undamaged.
