Auckland, Last Night. }h« prices of hideß showed a great decline at the sales to-day compared with the record rates which ruled recently. •There was an average offering, but the greater poportion of the lots were passed in Subsequently buyers purchased privately at a decline of thirty per cent. for calf compared with the March rates: twenty-five to thirty-three per ecnt. for tlnf, « aceordin g t0 and tv.enty.five per cent, 'for medium and heavy.
