The launch which left here on Thursday last in charge of Catpaili Berridge to search for tiie missiifg scow Kahu, returned on .Saturday afternoon after a thorough search of the Alderman and .Mercury Islands and down the coast to f ilie Shippers. Xo trace of the scow or any wreckage was found, and it is surmised that the Kanu foundered. .
