On Wednesday, ftt Eltham, we had a full yarding of both sheep and cattle. Quotations: Pot and forward cows £9 14s, store cows £4 to £8 10s, Jersey weaner heifers £0 weaner heifers £2 15s, steers 395, store pigs £3 10s to £4, weaners 25s to 37s 6d, ?- tooth as. 28s 2d, cull lambs 10s 6d, lanrts (good) 20s. At Hawera, on Thursday, we had a full yarding of both sheep and cattle. A heavy yarding of sheep sold well, and were all disposed of before leaving the yards.
