The weather conditions were pleasant, and n pood number took part in a m'.xei t'cVTSomen match. The best scores wore Mrs Johns and P. S. .Tohns (U>£) .. 1 down Mrs Thompson and T. V. Mackay (23) 1 down Miss Goldwater and A. Smith (17Ms) 2 down Mrs Patou and J. Paton (13) 5 down The first ladies' match of the season—a bogey hatfdicap—wtfl bo played to-morrow afternoon. CANTERBURY LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP. v Christchurch, April 9. Miss Wright, of Timaru, won the ladies' golf championship of Canterbury.
