THE PEOPLE'S, JOHN BARRYMORE IX ''THE TEST OP HONOR"—MATINEE AND NIGHT. This afternoon and to-night at the People's, John Barrymore will star in "The Test of Honor," a powerful film version of E. Phillip Oppenhcim's famous novel, "The Malefactor." This is not a new type of photoplay for the famous star, inasmuch as many of his greatest successes on the stage and in motion pictures have been scored in dramatic production. No more powerful characterisation has been, seen in pictures in'many months than that of the man wi prefers to go to prison rather than nose the criminal action' of the woman he loves. This feature which shows only to-day at the matinee and night session is supported by a two-reel Max Sennet comedy, "The Den: tist," a gazette, and an excellent travelogue. EVERYBODY'S. MARY MILES MINTER IN "A BACHELOR'S WIFE." '■' A Bachelor's Wife" is easily one of the best little romances in which Mary Miles Minter, the loveliest little girl on the screen, has ever been featured. She's pretty as a picture, especially in the scenes with a bouncing cherub of a baby that doesn't belong to her nt all, and a big bar-holm' who doesn't belong either, lint'who remedies the slight omission as soon as he can. You would believe in home rule heart and soul if you had an delightful ■• girl as Mary to reign over the honn and she never looked more lovable than when she mothers the cutest baby over filmed. It isn't her own, even in the picture, but that's something she keeps strictly to herself till just the right moment comes along. This charming comedy drama is showing at Everybody's at both sessions to-day and this will be the only occasion this; feature can be screened,
