MANAWATU TOUBNAMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston North, April 9. The final of the Manawatu Centre's bowling tournament resulted:— Newton (Prince, Manning, Ferguson, Wylie s), 20; v. St. John's (Smart, Rowlings, Harkness, Scrivener s), 10. It was a splendidly contested game. The scores were even at the 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th heads. Scrivener led by one at the 17th and Wylie was two up at the 20th. In the last head Wylie lay two and Scrivener just missed'a firm draw and drive.
