RECORD PRICE FOR BULL.
SALE OF KAI IWI CATTLE. By Telec-JitOi-—Profts Assnetattan, Wnngnnui, Last Night. At a Rale of Hereford cattle, held? here to-day on behalf of Mr. G. F. Moore, Kni Iwi, two-year heifers averaged 974 guineas; yearling heifers 80 guineas; heifer calves 31 guineas; yearling bulls 70 guineas; two- -ar bulls 06 guineas; old bulls 251 guineas; run bulls 22% guineas. A yearling bull sold for 1000 guineas to Mr. K. M. Hutchinson (of Gisbortie), which is believed to be a record for New Zealand. The imported bull Rufus was bought bv Mr. H. Campbell (Hawke's Bay) for 350 guineas. Royal Navy, a locally-bred two-year-nld animal, was bought by Mr, E. M. Hutchinson (Gisborne) for one thousand guineas.
