ROUGH AT SEA.
STEAMER'S TRYING EXPERIENCE. By Telegraph —r-ress Association. Wellington, Last Night. No small vessels left the port to-day on account of the southerly weather, the only departures being the Wahine for Lyttelton and the Mokoia for Napier. The Patecna arrived this evening after a twenty-two hour trip from Picton. She was cruising in the Straits till 3 p m., when she went to Cloudy Bay for shelter. It was the worst trip the captain can remember.
