AUSTRALIAN STEAMERS ASHORE. B? Telefraph.—Press Asm.—Copyright. Received April 7, 11.55 p.m. * Sydney April 7. The three thousand ton steamer Ansrhinisli, en route from Port Pirie to Newcastle, with 4500 tons of iron ore on board, is ashore off Montague Island. It is feared she will become a total week. Advices have been received in Sydnev that the Federal Government's linei- Carawa, which grounded on the Galapagos Islands, is a total loss. The crew, it is supposed, landed. The vessel carried a cargo of oil from Port Arthur (Texas), valued at £2oo,ooo.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
