| THE PONSONBY MURDER, By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, April C. Dennis Gunn, charged with murder surd robbery at Ponsonby, was remanded for a further eight days. WATERSIDERS REFUSE WORK. Auckland, April 6. The watersiders refused to work the Arahura this morning owing to the sickness of two passangers, which was supposed to be influenza. There was similar trouble on the Canadian Raider owing to the employment of non-union firemen and greasers. COACH-BUILDERS IN CONFERENCE. Auckland, Lust Night. The Dominion Coach-builders' Conference resolved to urge the Government to take immediate steps to secure supplies of Australian and New Zealand timbers for vehicle building. It was resolved to adopt a Dominion price list for tlie principal classes of work. Mr. J. W. Scurr, of Dunedin, was elected President, and Mr. G. Bryant, Christchurch, secretary and treasurer.
