The result of the Western Electric Shieldcompetition for teams of live men from the l'ost and Telegraph Engineers or Cadets for the military year 1919-20, is announcod. The winners were:— No. 3 Company Nelson, score 401, for four practices, application, snap, and rapid Are at 200 yards, and application at 500. No. 7 Company, Wellington A team, second, 383. Nc. 1 Company, Auckland A teaon, third, 348. Nine teams competed. The winning team's scores were:—Lieut. Baggs 93 (top for the Dominion), Cpl. Jennens 88, Sergt. Kemp 79, Spr. Peters 78, Spr. Smith 61.' Last year the Shield went to No. 90 Company, Auckland P. and T. Cadets, with a score of 421.
