PAIRS TOURNAMENT. Play in the pairs tournament iar< ranged by the four New Plymouth clubs was continued yesterday on the West Pud and Pitzroy greens, the section Samoa being finished and the semi-final reached. At the close of section play, Medley headed Section A, and McNeill Section C, while Jury and Lee tied in Section B and Rolston and Jackson in Section D . In the play-off of the ties, Jury won comfortably from Lee, the final figures being. Jury 28, Lee 10. The game between Rolston and Jackson was a very even contest. At the 29th head Rolston had scored 20 and Jackson 1(1. In the final head Jackson scored three, losing the game by one point.
SEMI-FINALS. McNeill (Section C) heat Medley (Section A) by 21 to 12, when play ceased for the day. Bolston (D) and Jury (B) have to play off. and the winner plays McNeill in the final, which will probably be got off to-morrow. BOWLING AT STRATFORD •EASTER TOURNAMENT. The Stratford Bowling Club's second annual Easter tournament was continued yesterday in ideal weather. The remaining games of the Ist and 2nd rounds and the semi-finals were played off, the final being left until next Thursday.
