But there is an element of intense sociability while the inimitable way in which the proceedings are enlivened by concerted musical items is a source of additional pleasure Last year the visitors brought with them a "banner for competition. They lost, but took the trophy back to have It mounted and on Saturday afternoon Mr. Christie produced the banner" (a small flag), which now forms the centre ornament on an oak shield around which arc silver plates whereon are inscribed the names of the victorious team each year. In presenting the shield, to Fitzrov, after the visitors had been cordially corned.
