A Napier manufacturer who has been advertising for girls for bin factory for some months with practically no success, decided on the bright idea, for so it has proved, of abolishing Saturday work. His factory has since become popular, and is fully staffed, while the manufacturer is considering the matter of increasing his premises. As yet no definite date can be fixed for the arrival of the training ship which is to replace the Amokura. The first vessel submitted was not suitable for the purpose, but another was chosen, and this is now being altered before, being brought out to New Zealand by Captain Hooper, of the Amokura, who went Home some time ago to choose the vessel and navigate her to her future X
