MOVING TOWARDS CHINA. FRIENDLY AIMS DECLARED. By Teleyaph.—Press Assn.—Coprrisht, Received April 2, 5.5 p.m. Pekin, March 31. The Russian Soviet Government is steadily ingratiating themselves into Chinese officialdom. The latest flattering message conveys brotherly love, and announces that the Red Army does not aim at conquest in moving eastward, but merely at the rescue of the workmen and peasants from the clutches of Generals Semenov and Horvatli, and the Japanese. Moscow undertakes to annul nil treaties and privileges which Tsarist Russia acquired in China, and solemnly forgives the Chinese temporary opposition to the Soviets in 1818. It further oilers various concessions and gifts. Everything, however, is dependent oil the willingness of China to give a plea of complete freedom to determine its own system of government.—Times Service.
