AUSTRALIANS AWAITING SHIPS By Telegraph.—Press Assn.—Copyright Received April 2, s,f> p.m. London, Alarch 31 Several stranded Australian dischargees' awaiting ships to bring them to Australia applied to the War Labor Bureau, but officials pointed out they were unable to find them employment until all British workmen were provided for. They suggested, the Australians should apply at their own headquarters. The latter recommended them for employment in ease making and packing the aeroplanes which the Air Ministry has presented to Australia, tut the trades unions intervened, protesting against the employment of non-union-ists. and prevented their engagement.—* Aua.-JSi.Z.
