Tlie awards for four year Clydesdale? at the Show include Mr. Stake's Scotland's Peer champion; Messrs Gillies and Walters' Buchleyvies' Choice second and reserve champion; Mr. Tennison's invcrmay, third. All were bred in New Zc£?and. At the Show cattle sales, the demand was limited owing to the drought and prices were generally below recent averages, with occasional high figures. The top price was 720 guineas, paid for a Shorthorn iuM. Shorthorn bulls sold on behalf of the MeNab Estate and Mr. D. Wright ranged from '2.'> to 100 guineas. Beef cattle sold on behalf of Messrs.
