DAMAGE BY FLOODS.
RELIEF TO SUFFERERSI ROADS SERIOUSLY DAMAGED By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. The Hon. ,T. G. Coates reached Haurau to-day, and visited tho flooded area. He conferred with the engineer regard* ing immediate relief for the sufferers. Ho also inspected some of the damage to roads and bridges. , Tho Waipu Koad is the most seriously affected, and it is estimated it will take £4OOO to repair this road alone.
