PAY FOR JOURNALISTS.
THE OHRTSTCHURCH AWARD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christelrurcii, Last Night. The journalists' award provides' salaries for reporters and readers as in the Auckland and Dunedin awards. Tho hours for morning papers will be the old Christehureh twelve-hour day, with a two-hour break; and for evening papers the Auckland and Dunedin forty-eight hour clause. Sub-editors are graded with salaries of £B, £0 10s, and £5 a week.
