J>ATEA CLUB. Tho P-'tea Club hied its meeting on Wednesday, .vlien there was a good attendance. The balance-sheet was read and adopted, and the following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. A. T. Christensen; president, Mr. C. M. Strouts; hon. lifo member. Captain Tinney; vice-presidents, Messrs. L. Adams, J. A. McKennafi H. O. Clarke, H. Locker, W. J. Havard, E. Neilson, A. Pearce j. Coogan, h. Thompson and R. A. Brewer: hon. secretary, Mr. R. Elder; hon. treasurer, Mr. *1 F. Hemingway; hon auditor, Mr. J. Shelld; club, captain, Mr. Con Sheehou; general committee, captain and vlce-caplains of junior, and captain and vice-captians of senior teams, Cupt. Tinney, Messrs. Alf. Williams and J. Gunn, and officers ex officio; delegates to sub-union, Messrs. D. Cunningham and J. A. McKenna; senior selectors, Mr. T. Sheahan and the captain and vice-captain of the senior team; junior selectors, captain and vice-captala of the junior team and coach. The question of providing jerseys was considered at length, and it was finally decided, on the motion of Mr. Schwass, seconded by Mr. Havard, that the club pay at least half travelling expenses for players in place of procuring jerseys. It was unanimously resolved that the very hearty thanks of the club be tendered to the following: Messrs. R. A. Brewer and C. M Strouts (donations), J. R. D. Winchester and F. McKenna (gold medals for seniors), Messrs Murfitt and J, A. McKenna (medals for juniors). It was also decided that the club place on record its high appreciation of the valuable services rendered by Captain Tlnnev fo the club In the past, and that he be elected an honorary life member. The resolution was carried with acclamation, the chairman remarking that the club owed more to Capt Tinney than to any other Individual Abridged from Press,
