ST. MARY'S CHURCH.
•DEDICATION OF GIFT WALL AND GATE.
A very simple but appropriate service took place in St. Mary's churchyard on Friday last, when the stone wall and lych' gate, recently erected by some oi their relatives, to tho nvwory of the late Mr- and Mrs. T. S, Weston, worn solemnly dedicated in the presence of members of the family only. The service was conducted bv the Von. Archd. F. (i. Evans and the "Rev. F. G. Harvio (vicar). At the conclusion of the revvice Archdeacon Evans, on behalf of the church authorities and the. parishioners, thanked the donors for so handsome a gift to the churchThe two memorial tablets within the lych gate bear the following inscriptions:—
A memorial of Thomas Shailer Weston and Maria Cracrott Weston, his wife. This eastern wall and lych gate were built by his brother. Henry Weston, and their four surviving sons in the year 1919.
John James Weston, Mary Weston, with their sons, John, 'Warwick, Thomas Shailer, Henry and William Joseph, (settled in New Plymouth in the year 1850.
