MIDHiRST. (From Our Own Correspondent) A socfal was tendered to Miss 33. Huse on the eve of her wedding, in the Midhirst Oddfellow's Hall, by her many friends. Dancing and gomes were the order of the evening, while vocal Items were rendered by Miss Klvell, Mft. Hatoher, and Mr. Harold mi . 9|,oke of the many flno qualities of the guest of the evening, who lind made herself very popular with all whom she came in contact. Mrs. Hatcher then asked Miss Huse to accept a token of appreciation from her qiany friends, In the slmpa-of a silver bread board and knife, and extending toasting fork. Miss Huso was married the next day (Wed"le ®' e 'hodlsf. Church, to Mr William Ponnlngton, and at the weddlnir breakfast which was held In the hall, about 150 were present.
