Frederick Jackson, alias William Fred« erick Murray, alias Williain Starbrook, nn habitual criminal, who escaped from Auckland, prison on January 10th, was brought before J.P.'s at Murchison on a charge of theft, and was remanded to Wellington. The accused wa« noticed in Nelson the other day, but went to tha country, and was arrested at Glenhope.
