TERMS OF THE MANDATES. By Telegraph.—Frets Assn —Copyright. London, March 22. Lord Robert Cecil suggested" that the : Premier should urge the Council of- the League of Nations to deal as quickly as possible with the question of defining the terms of the mandates for the exGerman colonies. Mr. Lloyd George pointed out that the Covenant of the League provided that the terms of the mandate shall be defined by the Council, if not previously agreed to by members of the League. He stated that the Government was earnestly giving its attention to the whole matter and hoped soon to be able to give information.—lmperial Service.
