The oflicial bulletin allows that the following infectious diseases were notified in tlie Taranaki Hospital District during the week ending 110011 on Monday, Marcn 22nd:— Scarlet fever: Stratford 2. Diphtheria: Taranaki 1, Stratford i, liawera 1. Tuberculosis: Taranaki 2. Measles: Taranaki i, Stratford 1, Ophthalmia Neonatorum Stratford 1. In all 217 eases of influenza were notilied in the Wellington Health District irom the loth to the 22nd of,' —213 mild and 4 pneumonic. Vor the previous week the.ligures were 31U milu and 4 pneumonic; total, 320. The cases in Tart-mik-i were: Taranaki, (12 mild—New Plymouth 41, Waitara 17, Inglewood 4. Stratford, 12 mild.' Huwera, 24—Hawera borough 14 mild and 1 pneumonic, Kaponga 2 mild, Ellliam 7 mild. l'atea, I(l—Patea borough, 12 mlldt, Wa verify, 4 mild.
