The blackberry menace was briefly discussed at Saturday's meeting of the Stratford County Council. The chairman remarked that on the Council's reserve of five acres at Midhirst four wres were covered with blackberries. The Council decided to experiment as to the best means of coping with the menace by obtaining a barrel of weed destroyer and demonstrating for the benefit of the ratepayers, whether or not it was suitable foi; destroying the blackberries. If the experiment proves a sjiecess the Council will nrobably conduct demonstrations in other parts of the country. Commercial stationery ,\nd all the principal office requirements are stocked by H.
