INGLEWOOD.
(From A Correspondent)
Last Thursday's swimming sports of the Girls' High School, New Plymouth, was another proof that we can hold oar own. Miss D. Brown, who for the second time won the championship, besides being winner of four first, two second and three third prizes, and one of tlie winning "forms' relay team," is distinctly a representative of Inglewood. Mi?s M. Thomson also belongs here by birth. She came second for the championship, as well as scoring three firsts, three seconds, and two third prize.3, and was also one of the same winning relay team as Miss Brown, besides which her diving performances are worth notice. Miss H. Thomson, winner of third in eg ; ; and spoon race, we claim as of our district on the same grounds a3 her sister. The championship cup seems to gravitate to Mr. F. H- Brown's familyMiss M. Brown won it when first It was competed for, and Miss D. Brown, her sister, has upheld the family claim
