THE PALMERSTON TRAGEDY. Palmerston N., March 19. In connection with the finding of the w m '° f WOman M «y Ethelinc V\ ebby with her throat out yesterday" an inquest opened this morning and was adjourned for a week. The police are investigating the case but no arrest has yet been made. ILLEOALY ON PREMISES. Palmerston N , March 19. An unknown man was found on ttie premises of Johansen and proprietors of a drapery store, last night. When discovered the man made off, 'but left a hat behind. The police arc investigating.
