WATERSIDE WORKERS.
THE DISPUTK SETTLED. INCREASE IN PAY GRANTED. By Telccraph.—Pressi Association. Wellington, Last Night. The conference of employers of waterside labor and representatives of the Federated Waterside Unions concluded to-day after sitting for about a fortnight. An official report issued to-night States that a settlement was arrived"at subject to ratification by the various unions and employers concerned. The agreement provides for an increase in wages based upon the increase in the cost of Jiving since the last ngre*. ment was made, but further information on this point is not available pending confirmation of the agreement.
