How many times have you wished that you could hear them? They are generally acknowledged as ''New Zealand's best." Time and again concert managers have endeavored to secure the Lyrics for a tour, and we feel extremely proud in presenting them throughout the Dominion in their initial appearance. If you want to know anything more about the Lyrics, just ask your friends in Auckland, and they will tell you not to miss a single item given by this splendid organisationTo present the marvels of the universe in terms of the popular mind, Chautauqua is bringing Dr t A. D. Carpenter, whom the late Percival Lowell. of Flagstaff Observatory, characterised as "perhaps the greatest living populariser of astronomy." Dr. Carpenter's evening lecture, "Worlds in the Making," is a condensation of a lifetime of thought and study upon the mysteries of our universe. "Celestial Mechanics," a more specific discourse, is the title of Dr. Carpentier's afternoon lecture. His treatment of his subjects is so. profound and yet so simple that everv man. woman and child findts it o; intense interest, and grasps from it a new understanding of the world in whiVh we live. You will like Dr. Carpenter, who has made many firm friends during his tour of the Dominion.
